Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts by coordinating various aspects of construction projects. This position requires strong time management skills, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and familiarity with industry-standard software tools. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager and Operations Manager to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.

Duties

  • Report to and assist the Project Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare and submit bids and tenders.
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project files in OneDrive, plans, schematics, and reports. Share relevant information with team members.
  • Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Utilize software tools for project tracking and reporting.
  • Review blueprints and schematics to assist in project estimating and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and action items to relevant parties.
  • Prepare, submit and track requests for information, contemplated change notices and change orders.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project coordination within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction estimating processes.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft 365 and the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
