Job Summary
This role requires excellent customer service skills, good verbal communication, and an above average understanding of the game of golf. This position requires availability to work regularly scheduled hours starting in April, until November 1st. As a pro shop attendant, the employee greets customers as they check in for their tee time. Other responsibilities are:
Responsibilities and Duties
- assisting in opening and closing duties
- providing excellent customer service to all players
- maintaining a clean pro shop
- keeping an accurate tee sheet and customer profile
- booking tee times over the phone
- collecting payment for green fees, seasonal dues, power cart and club rental as well as merchandise
- completing liability waivers with customers while renting power carts and equipment
- stocking the pro shop merchandise
Qualifications and Skills
- above average knowledge of golf
- cash register experience
- familiar with point of sale programs and the customer check-in process
- basic mathematical aptitude
- excellent communication skills, positive attitude, professional demeanor, easy-going sense of humor
- ability to make every customer feel welcome
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
