Yearly Salary: $59,133 - $66,518 (Plus a competitive benefit package)

About the Limestone District School Board

The Limestone District School Board (LDSB) is situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee. Limestone schools serve more than 20,500 students in 55 schools and five alternative education centres covering a geographic area of 7,719 square kilometres across the City of Kingston, the Townships of Central Frontenac, North Frontenac, South Frontenac, Addington Highlands, Loyalist, Stone Mills, the Frontenac Islands and the Town of Greater Napanee.

Position Overview

Providing high level confidential administrative support to the Superintendents of Education, you are a self-starter responsible for coordinating workflow, conducting research, preparing reports and other correspondence, overseeing budgets, managing role-related projects, handling a variety of information requests, and performing a variety of other administrative functions to promote and maintain administrative efficiency. Your well-defined philosophy of service delivery will facilitate your liaison role between senior staff, managers, principals, employees, families, the public, community partners and the Program Team to facilitate service excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • College diploma in office administration and/or a combination of relevant education and three to five years progressive experience working in a high-level office administration capacity supporting a variety of individuals in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
  • Exceptional customer service and continuous improvement orientation
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative
  • Project management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in utilizing a variety of software applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, database, electronic mail, and other relevant software applications
