What you’ll be doing ...

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead, you will supply and manage tools and inventory in the support of our various construction divisions. This position covers the afternoon shift (11:00AM to 6:00PM – 35 hours/week).

Materials/tools inventory tracking

• Job pulls, prepping and loading vehicles
• Updating inventory, restocking and replenishing inventory, daily counts and reconciliation
• Sign-in/sign-out of tools

Small tools repairs (sawzall, extension cords, drills, scrapers, etc.)

Facility and yard management

• Daily end-of-shift walkthrough
• Daily sweeping of office space and warehouse space
• 2 x week mopping of office space
• 2 x week cleaning of office and warehouse washrooms
• Daily emptying of garbage and recycling
• Seasonal yard maintenance

Waste management

• Scaling waste and updating trackers
• Monitoring ECA compliance

General Duties

• Sign-in/sign-out of fleet vehicle keys
• Pick-up and delivery of tools + supplies to and from job sites
• Assisting in-house mechanic team with fleet repairs
• Complete daily timecard
• Other duties as required

What skills and experience you’ll bring to us ...

• Minimum of 2 years relevant warehouse experience in the construction industry
• High School diploma
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 20+kg’s
• WHMIS certificate
• Asbestos or abatement worker course considered an asset
• Class G Driver license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

• French not required
